Students

1. using your Student credentials, login to Unidesk and complete the Software request form to ask for a license
2. Go to the Nvivo website and 'Sign up'
3. Still on the Nvivio website, download suitable version for your device
4. Install the software
5. During the install you'll be asked for a license key, enter the details you've received from the UHI Servicedesk. If you haven't applied for this yet, opt to start a 14 day trial, you will need to go in later and add a proper license key.

Staff

1. using your Staff credentials, login to Unidesk and complete the Software request form to ask for a license
2. go to file location in file explorer - uhi-f02UHI_SoftwareQSR NVivo
3. Install the suitable version for your device (usually v12)
4. During the install you'll be asked for a license key, enter the details you've received from the UHI Servicedesk. If you haven't applied for this yet, opt to start a 14 day trial, you will need to go in later and add a proper license key.
